Berlin – Addie M. Jacobs, 92 died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident since 2011.
Born in Berlin, she was the daughter of the late Francis R. and Della (Newton) Jarmon. Her late husband Alfred Jacobs died in 1973.
She retired from Tyson Foods in Berlin, MD where she was employed for several years.
She was a member of St. Paul U.M. Church in Berlin and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Duncan Showell Post #231 in Berlin..
Her survivors include one son: Kenneth (Faye) Jarmon of Berlin, MD; two grandchildren: Tonya (Michael) Postell of Newport News, VA and Deano Fassett of Charlottesville, VA; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Two stepsons and three brothers preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at St. Paul U.M. Church in Berlin where friends may view one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
