Floyd Collick, Sr. Obituary

Snow Hill- Floyd L. Collick, Sr. “Baby Brother”, 68, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, in Salisbury, MD. Born in Orange County, VA, he was the son of the late Burley, Sr. and Lucille (William), Collick.

He was a Veteran of the U.S Army and was stationed in Germany until receiving an honorable discharge.

He was employed for more than fifteen years with the Worcester County Board of education, where he was a Supervisor at Pocomoke Middle School.

His survivors include eleven children: Adrianne Johnson of Williamsport, PA, Alfonso Shockley (Jaclyn) of Baltimore, MD, Floyd L. Collick, Jr. of Princess Anne, MD, Tyrone Justice of Salisbury, MD, Marcus (Bobbi) Collick of Baltimore, MD, Kenyatta Collick of Salisbury, MD, LaRonda Foreman of Snow Hill, MD, Dontay Collick of Stockridge, GA, Derrick (Tiasha) Collick of Berlin, MD, Natasha (Calvin) Collick Haggins of Parksley, VA, and Jermaine Collick of Snow Hill, MD; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four siblings: Mariah (James) Duffy of Snow Hill, MD Leathea Cousar of Pocomoke,  MD, James (Grace) Collick of Salisbury, MD; and John Collick of Delmar, MD;  several nieces and nephews.

Two siblings: Saundra Foreman and Burley Collick, Jr. preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Pocomoke Middle School on 8th Street, Pocomoke, MD, where friends may view from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in Shiloh U.M. Church Cemetery in Pocomoke, MD.
