Salisbury-Mamie Lue Hall, 78, of here died Thursday, August 22, 2019, at John Hopkins in Baltimore, MD.
Born in Valdosta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Otis, Sr. and Viola (Marshall) Pye. Her late husband, Alfred Lorenzo Hall died in 1987.
She received a diploma from St. James High School Academy Fort Pierce, Florida, and nursing certificate from the former Dorchester County Hospital.
She was Employed as a CNA at Peninsula Regional Medical Center for twelve years. Upon retirement she worked as a private sitter.
She was a devoted member of New Dimensions Family Ministries in Salisbury, where she served as a church mother, senior choir, usher board, bus ministry, tape ministry, altar worker, witnessing team and helped cleaned the church.
Her survivors include three children: Jesse Scott, Gwendolyn (Martin) Dashiell-Blakeney, and Frederick Montgomery, all of Salisbury, MD; thirteen grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; eight siblings: Annie Grace Hall, Mary Evelyn Lee, Robert (Rochelle) Pye, James (Donna Mae) Pye, George, Jimmy (Regina) Artis Pye, and Frankie Mae (Russell) Pye-Berrian; a godson: Major (Patricia) Purnell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Two children: Bennie Montgomery IV, Clara Purnell and four siblings: Rosa Mae, Johnny, Ernest, Sr., and Otis Pye, Jr., all preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2019, at New Dimensions Family Ministry, 1907 Jersey Road, Salisbury, MD, where friends may view one hour prior to service. Friends may also view Thursday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Jolley Memorial Chapel, P.A., 1213 Jersey Road, Salisbury, MD.
Interment will be in Green Acres Memorial Park in Salisbury, MD.
