Patsy Elaine (Burton) Oliver

Salisbury – Patsy (Pat) Oliver, 74 died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

Born in Millsboro, DE, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Etta (Roberts) Burton.

She was a graduate of the former William C. Jason High School in Georgetown, De.

She was formerly employed with several local poultry companies, former janitor for the Wicomico County Board of Education and was also employed with the Mr. Meticulous Cleaning Company in Salisbury.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Salisbury, MD.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years: Norman Oliver of Salisbury; six children: Pamella Oliver of Elkridge, MD, Ricky Oliver of Stockton, CA; Tanya Oliver of Atlanta, GA; Valair (Stephen) Mann of Manassas, VA; Crystal (Dion) Allen of Raleigh, NC and Parris Oliver of Mardela Springs, MD; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two siblings: Frederick (Gertrude) Burton of Whaleyville and Mary Ann Adkins of Millsboro, DE; three brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held noon, Monday, December 4, 2017 at Dickerson’s Chapel AME Church in Millsboro. A viewing will be held  from 6-7:30, Friday, December 1, 2017 at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury and on Monday at the church two hours prior to service.  Interment will be in Old Field Cemetery in Millsboro.
