Sheila Abrams Obituary

Sheila Diane Abrams, 57, died Monday, September 16, 2019 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD.

Born in Girdletree, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Eunice V. Boston and Hubert E. Lankford, Sr.

She received her formal education in Somerset County. She was a 1981 graduate of Crisfield High School.

She was formerly employed as a certified nurse’s assistant at Alice B. Towes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Crisfield. She was also a self-employed children day-care provider.

Her survivors include two sons: Jermel Abrums and Dontae Holden, both of Crisfield, MD; two grandchildren: Aaliyah Holden and Xavier Holden; four sisters: Yvonne Boston, Dawn Carter Brown, Cynthia Harmon, and Tammy (Brock) Owens; three brothers: Tyrone Miles of Cleveland, OH, Hubert, Jr. of Princess Anne, MD, and Michael Lankford of Marion, MD; two aunts; two uncles; two goddaughters: Brielle Fitchett, and Kamari Brown; a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Handy’s U. M. Church in Marion, MD, where friends may view one hour prior to service.

Interment will be private.
