Annie Farmer Brittingham, a resident of Berlin, Maryland, peacefully transitioned to eternal rest at the age of 83 on April 24, 2026, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on February 25, 1943, to the late Artelia Short.
Annie was married to the late Robinson “Pinky” Brittingham Jr. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: two daughters, Robin of Salisbury, Maryland, and Tracy of Berlin, Maryland; one son, Jerome Brittingham Sr. of Berlin, Maryland; three bonus children, Natasha (Derek) Godwin of Berlin, Maryland, Monika Brittingham of Salisbury, Maryland, and Starr Belmont of Lanham, Maryland; one sister, Linda Faye Purnell of Berlin, Maryland; three sisters-in-law, Gladys Andrews of Snow Hill, Maryland, Mildred Brittingham of Norfolk, Virginia, and Marion Smith of Millsboro, Delaware; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family, and dear friends.
In addition to her husband, Annie was preceded in death by her daughter, Phalena “Karen” Brittingham; her mother, Artelia F. Short; her sister, Gwendolyn Short; and her brothers, Keith Short and Gerald Andrews.
