Berlin – Anthony E. O'Neal (Tony, "Ant"), 57 formerly of Berlin, died Monday, March 12, 2018 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Born in Berlin, he was the son of Mary O'Neal of Berlin and the late Eugene O'Neal.

He was a 1979 graduate of Stephen Decatur High School where he excelled in football.  Upon graduation he attended Morgan State University in Baltimore on a Football Scholarship.

He was self-employed as an auto body specialist.

He was a member of St. Paul U. M. Church in Berlin.

Besides his mother, he is survived by 3 sisters: Ivanne (James) Rhoades of Phoenix, AZ, Shana (Theodore) Robinson of Owings Mills, MD and Pastina (James) Tingle of Berlin, MD; five aunts, two uncles, a devoted friend Ramona Holmes and a lifelong friend Doris Griffin and family.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Paul UM Church in Berlin where friends may view one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.
