Eden – Beatrice (Beatty) Frances Evans, 86, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at her home in Eden.

Born in Allen, MD, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Edith (Jones) Gale.

She was a graduate of the former Salisbury Colored High School.

She was employed for 27 years in Central Supply at PRMC, retiring in 1993.

She was a lifelong member of Friendship United Methodist Church where she served as a choir member and usher.

Her survivors include three children: Vincent (Debra) Gale of Oxon Hill, MD; Bethena Gale and Karen Evans, both of Eden; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law: Margaret Gale, several nieces and nephews.

Nine siblings: Robert, Lee, John, Catherine, Emma, Emerson, Andrew, Darie and Betty preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Friendship U.M. Church in Allen where friends may view from 9:30 – 11:00.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.
