Quantico – Clarence C. Jackson, Sr., 81 of Quantico, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Anchorage Nursing Home in Salisbury, MD.

Born in Quantico, he was the son of the late Jennings and Bertha (Campbell) Jackson.

He retired from the former J.B. Wells Lumber Co. in the 90s, where he was employed for over 34 years.

He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Quantico.

His survivors include his wife of 59 years: Bertina Jackson; two children: Donald of Quantico, MD and Carinthia Jackson of Bivale, MD; four grandchildren: Shawn, Lamar and Michelle Jackson, Jarrell Schoolfield; six great-grandchildren: Shawn, Jr., Tykee and Ev'en Jackson, Eric Ballard, Jordan Vernon and Na'shari Williams.  He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews,

A son Clarence C. Jackson, Jr. preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury where friends may view one hour prior to service.
