Obituary

Crystal Lynn Blake (Pumpkin), 43 of Snow Hill, MD, slipped peacefully away while holding the hands of her sisters on January 10, 2025 at her home. She was born on January 7th, 1982 to the late Damon and Agnes Blake in Salisbury, Md. Crystal graduated from Snow Hill High School in 2000. She worked in Ocean City, MD for several years until her health began to fail. Crystal spent her early childhood years attending Cool spring United Methodist Church in Girdletree, Md. Later she attended Snow Hill Deliverances Center and various churches in the area.

Our sister loved to watch cooking shows, movies on Tubi, listening to music, reading on her kindle and spending time with family. Many people who know her knew she loved her Facebook. Often times she would be the last one sleep and the early one to rise posting messages. Crystal was feisty, you knew when she was serious.

She was the boss of Distal (her twin) and Distal knew it too. Distal would just let her believe she was her boss to save an argument. At times it was funny but I would tell Distal stop letting her boss you. I'm sure Crystal talked about me after I left telling Distal she ain't paying no mind to what I said. She loved her nephew and nieces. She would always ask for them and about them when she didn't see them. She always worried about them all.

Crystal was proceeded in death by her parents Damon and Agnes Blake, her maternal grandparents Obie Snead and Sarah Jackson, her paternal grandparents Damon Sr and Della Blake. Her uncles Donald, Charles Lee and Benjamin Blake, George (Bobby) Snead, Obie Snead and Thomas Jackson. Her aunts Barbara Williamson, Shirley Borden and Patsy Blake. A sister in law Michelle Robbins.

She is survived by her sisters Tonya (Michael) Snead-Robbins and Distal Blake and her brother LaDonya (LaChanda) Snead. Two brothers in law Marvin (Van) and Mitchell (Meshelle) Robbins. Nephew Antre. Nieces Tania, Sasha, Shecquan, Monique and Khiya, three aunts, Anna (Alfred) Hudson, Marian Ayres, Shirley Snead and a host of cousins.

A special thank you to her caregivers Tammy Waters, Vanessa Bishop, Destiny Sweat and Linda Wise.

Lovingly submitted,
