Obituary
Eden – Darie Virginia Gale, 89 died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at her home in Eden, MD.
Born in Allen, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Edith (Jones) Gale.
She was a graduate of the former Salisbury High School.
She was employed for several years in the Dry Cleaning business, including the former Dutch Girls Laundry, Phillips's Cleaners and Sunshine Laundry. She retired from Shore Brite Laundry where she was a laundry attendant.
She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and former choir member.
Her survivors include one sister: Beatrice Evans, one sister-in-law: Margaret Gale; her caretaker (niece) Bethena Gale, of Eden, MD and a host of other nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Eight siblings preceded her death.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Friendship U.M. Church in Allen where friends may view, two hours prior to service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
