Salisbury – DeForest Victoria (Vikki) Gale, 52 died Monday, February 15, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD.

Born in Baltimore, she was the biological daughter of Joan E. Gale and Bernard (Kim) Nutter , both of Salisbury and the "bonus" daughter of Tyrone (Bea) Gale, Sr. of Wilmington, DE.

She was a 1982 graduate of James M. Bennett High School.  Upon graduation, she matriculated at St. Mary's College in Maryland, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology in 1986.  She continued her studies at Salisbury University, working toward a Master's degree.

She was employed with the Wicomico County Board of Education in the Adult Education Program, retiring in 2010.  She was also formerly employed with for Wicomico and Worcester County Department of Social Services.

She attended Sonrise Church in Salisbury, MD.

Besides her parents, she is survived by two brothers: Bernard (Eslyn) Nutter and Tyrone (Ellyne) Gale, Jr.; two sisters: Sarah (Andre') Briddell and Marlayna Gale; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, including a special niece she referred to as her "daughter," Ashely (Roldy) Morisseau.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Elsey's U.M. Church, 3343 Elzey's Church Road, Bivalve, MD. Friends may view, one hour prior to the serv
