Bridgeville – Pastor Elbertha M. Gray, 83 died Sunday, June 21, 2015 at her Coverdale Crossroads home in Bridgeville, DE.
Born in Red Springs, NC, she was the daughter of the late James and Onie Mae (Leech) McNeill.
She was formerly employed as a seasonal worker. She was last employed for the First State Community Action Group Home in Laurel.
She was the pastor and founder of Soul Saving Center Church of God II in Bridgeville, DE.
Her survivors include her husband of 23 years Alfred Gray; two children: Rev. Willie J. (Laticia) Wright and Willie Mae (Joseph) Malloy, all of Bridgeville; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; two sisters: Mabel Stuart and Martha (Ruppert) Bell, all of Bridgeville; four brothers: Allen (Louise) of Coats, NC, Joseph (Mary) of Dover, DE, Daniel and Isaac McNeill, all of Bridgeville and a host of nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Sandy Mae Wright preceded her in 2014.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015 at United Deliverance Bible Center in Laurel, DE where friends may call two hours prior to service. Interment will be in St. Paul UMC Cemetery in Berlin, MD.
