Ella Mae Dale Robins, 92 died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Harrison House Senior Living in Snow Hill, where she resided since 2005.
Born here, she was the daughter of the late Rennie Dale and Charles Powell.
She was formerly employed with the former Seabonay and Stardust Hotels in Ocean City. She was a member of St. James Holiness Church in Snow Hill.
Her survivors include seven children: Jack of Union, MO, Charles (Nora) of Wadley, GA; Sidney Robins, Jr. of Salisbury, Betty (David) Dixon of Stockton; Leroy Robins, Rosie Hall and Wanda (Sylvester) Byrd, all of Snow Hill; 45 grandchildren; two of whom she reared: Ann of Salisbury and Sherronte Robins of St. Petersburg, FL; 83 great-grandchildren; 57 great-great grandchildren; 2 great-great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Six sons and a special daughter: Lula Foreman and a brother Walter Dale, Sr. preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 13,2015 at Free Indeed Ministries, 418 Market St., Snow Hill where friends may view one hour prior to service. Interment will be in St. James Holiness Church Cemetery in Snow Hill.
