Obituary
Snow Hill - Evelyn Fletcher, 92 of Snow Hill, died Friday, January 23, 2015 at Snow Hill Nursing and Rehabiltation Center in Snow Hill.
Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Sessoms and Lenora (Roscoe) Sessoms Holland.
She was employed as a seasonal worker for many years.
She attended the former Partakers of Christ Ministry of Berlin, MD.
She is survived by her caretaker and niece, Mary Bolling of Newark, MD; a niece and her daughter, whom she reared as a daughter: Laura Shields and Laurenetta Wessels; several other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a very close friend, Lenora Johnson, who was like her sister.
A nephew, whom she also reared as a son, Vannie Bolling (March 2014) and a niece, Evelyn Collick (January 2015) preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Jolley Memorial Chape, 600 Franklin Avenue, Berlin, MD where friends may view two hours prior to service. Interment will be in Williams A.M.E. Church Cemetery in Newark, MD.
