Geraldine Crawley, 72, of Berlin, Maryland, peacefully departed this earthly life on April 27, 2024, at Tidalhealth Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland. She was born on July 23, 1951 in Lindenburg, Virginia, to James Crawley and   Sarah Hite.

Geraldine was educated in Richmond County Virginia Public School system. Earlier in life, she was employed at Showell Farms in Showell, Maryland.  For many years, she was affiliated with Coastal Sanctuary and the Worship Center in Berlin, Maryland.

Geraldine was a warm, quiet and friendly person, who cared about others. She had a 'ready' smile and was easy to be around. Geraldine enjoyed being outdoors and appreciated the beauty of flowers and plants. She was a faithful friend and through her daily telephone ministry, she spoke with Mom Emma, Mom Mary, Jackie and Mary and offered support, humor and encouragement.

Geraldine leaves to cherish her memories, her companion of many years, Octave "Little Buddy" Miller, one son of Florida, James (Ivette) Maddux, one grandson, Derrick Brown, and one granddaughter, Jada Maddux, both of New York City, neighbors at the Community Complex, Vanessa Little, and Mary Ann Collins, caregivers, Stacey Holden, Deliah Trader and Linda Purnell.

Geraldine will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
