Sterling, VA – Ginnette (Reny) Irene Elizabeth Harmon, 50, died Friday, June 28, 2013 in her home in Sterling, VA.
Born in Lewes, DE, she was the daughter of the late William Harmon, Sr. and Irene Shields.
She was a 1981 graduate of Sussex Technical High School in Georgetown. She matriculated at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury and Strayer University in Sterling, VA, receiving an Associate's degree in Business Management.
She was employed as a Product Development Manager with Airline Tariff Publishing Company at Washington Dulles International Airport for the past 16 years. She was formerly employed with Piedmont Airlines as a Revenue Accounting Manager for twelve years.
Her survivors include two daughters: Nicole Wright of Sterling, VA and Andrea (Keith Patterson) Walker of Columbia, MD; four grandchildren: Shaniyah, Darius, Jr. and Christian Dixon and Keith (K.J.) Patterson, Jr.; four siblings: Betty (Nathaniel) Cephas of Seaford, DE, Mildred (Clinton) Parker of Snow Hill, MD; Samuel (Alice) Shields and William (Peggy) Harmon, Jr., all of Salisbury, MD; nine nieces and nephews. She also leaves two BFF's : Cheryl Johnson and Valarie Ward.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Mt. Enoch Holy Church, Rockawalkin Road in Salisbury, MD where friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron, MD.
