Obituary
Salisbury – Glenwell E. ("Glen,", Little Momma) Banks, 91 died Friday, June 10, 2016 at Deer's Head Center in Salisbury, where she had been a resident for a year.
Born in Allen, MD, she was the daughter of the late Luther C. and Hannah (Polk) Banks.
She was employed for over twenty years in the Dietary Dept. of the former Peninsula General Hospital, now Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and also attended the United Church of the First Born both in Salisbury.
Her survivors include two daughters: Rita Chandler and Sherleena (Pastor Richard) Morris, all of Salisbury; three special grandchildren: William, Deneen and Vanessa and eight additional grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Leola Watts and eight siblings preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the United Church of the First Born where friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2016 at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron, MD.
