Obituary
Hale A. Collins, 83 died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. He had been a resident of Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center since 2009.
Born in Showell, MD, he was the son of the late George W. and Ethel (McGregory) Collins.
He was employed for several years and retired from the former Showell Poultry Plant. He was a member of Curtis United Methodist Church in Bishop.
He is survived by his caretakers (nephew and niece) Bobby Purnell and Carol Purnell White and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Five siblings preceded him in death.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2014 at Curtis United Methodist Church where friends may view one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
