Allen - Hazel Corrina Jones King, 86 died Friday, April 15, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.  She had been a resident at Aurora Senior Living at Manokin in Princess Anne since March 2015.

Born in Salisbury, she was the only child of the late Louise H. Jones and Marshall Barkley.  Her mother died during childbirth, so Hazel was reared by her late grandmother, Elizabeth Tull Jones.

She was a graduate of the former Greenwood High School in Princess Anne, MD.

Upon graduation, she relocated to Philadelphia, PA where she was employed as a seamstress for a local sewing factory.  In 2005 she returned to the Allen/Eden area.

Hazel never had children of her own, but helped to rear a cousin, Winston Williams of Eden.  She is survived by her caregiver (cousin) Barbara Blake of Eden and a host of other cousins.

Funeral services will be held, 11:00 a.m.., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury, MD. Where friends may view one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Trinity U.M. Church Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, MD.
