SALISBURY – Joelyn F. Lombardi, 78 formerly of Cinnaminson, NJ died Friday, October 28, 2016 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD.

She relocated to Salisbury in August of 2014 to be closer to her daughter.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Olenda Ferrette.  Her late husband, Francis "Buzz" Lombardi died in 2007.

Mrs. Lombardi was a graduate of Steinert High School in New Jersey. Upon graduation, she matriculated at the former Trenton State College in New Jersey where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education.

She taught elementary school for a short time in New Jersey and Tennessee.  She later became employed as a supervisor with the State of New Jersey Department of Labor, retiring after more than 35 years of service.

Her survivors include one daughter: Linda (James) Nestor of Salisbury, MD; four grandchildren: Cole, Luke, and Brynn Nestor and Nicholas Lombardi; one brother Joel "Jay" (Arleta) Ferrette of Ewing, NJ; one daughter-in-law: Michele Simone Lombardi; one brother-in-law: Robert (Michaelina) Lombardi, all of New Jersey, one niece and one nephew.

Her son, Jeffrey Lombardi died in 2011.

Her greatest loves were spending time with her grandchildren and spending time at the beach with her beloved dog, "Maggie."
