John Bruce Simmons, 62 died Monday, June 9, 2014 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD.
Born in Charleston, SC, he is the son of Dorothy Cuffee of Delmar, DE and the late Henry L. Cuffee, Sr.
He was a 1969 graduate of Delmar High School. Upon graduation, he was employed with the former Rombro Brothers Garment Factory in Delmar, MD. He retired after twenty years from Tischon Corp. in Salisbury.
His survivors include his wife of ten years: Linda Bennett Simmons of Delmar, DE; five children: Bruce "BJ" (Charli) Simmons, Jr., Nicole Stewart, Peebles, Christopher and Joshua Simmons; ten grandchildren, nine siblings: Dorothy (William) Bailey, Peg (Anthony)Brinkley, Karen, Vanessa and Henry L. Cuffee, Jr.; Lisa (Anthony) Dennis, Hattie Coleman, Lillie Seabrook and Gene Robinson; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A granddaughter: Cassidy Holt preceded him in death.
