Juanita (Piggy) Shiles, 64 died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at PRMC in Salisbury, MD.
Born here, she was the daughter of the late Earl Church and Mary Shiles. She was reared by her aunt, the late Ollie Mae Snead.
She was formerly employed for 35 years with Perdue Farms, Inc. in Salisbury.
Her survivors include her children: Darrell (Elissa) and Derek Shiles, Shanda (Rufus) Braboy, Carolyn (Tymel) Cooper, Norma Maddox, Kim (Barbara) Robinson, Angela Scott, Norman Thomas, Jr. and Shawn Thomas; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; three siblings: Alexander (Carole), Timothy and Madelyn Shiles; four aunts, devoted niece: Tywana Shiles; devoted friends: Gloria McLeod, Perrine Handy, Leo and Rachel McNeil, other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014 at St. James Free Methodist Church in Quantico where friends may call two hours prior to service. Interment will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 3, 2014 at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
Funeral services are entrusted to Jolley Memorial Chapel, of Salisbury, MD.
