Obituary

Julia Ann Henry, 62 of Snow Hill, MD, formally of State College, Pennsylvania, peacefully transitioned this earthly life on February 17, 2023, at Tidalhealth Peninsula Regional  Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Julia, lovingly referred to as, Julie, was born August 19, 1960 in Bellefonte Pennsylvania. She was the third child of Gerald and Norma Henry.  Julie had many talents and gifts. She was a licensed plumber and an ordained minister, she loved to travel, camp and spending time at the ocean.  When she was well she would often take her grandchildren on vacations and day trips all over.  She loved to help others and would help anyone in need.  When she became ill she spent more time crocheting and would donate several thousand hats every year to cancer patients, homeless and neighborhood children.  Holidays were always special to Julie, she always had the best decorated home for every holiday. She will be missed by family and friends. Julie is surviving by her children, Jennifer Carter (Andre) of Snow Hill, Maryland and Mitchell (Abby)Wasson of Centre Hall, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Miranda Carter (Dou'vour), Marissa Fetters, Makayla Fetters of Snow Hill, Maryland and Daniel, Madison, Wyatt and Austyn Wasson of Centre Hall, Pennsylvania; only great-grandson, Zaiden. Zaiden was the light of her life and she looked forward to spending time with him. She is also survived by her siblings, Jerry (Mark) Henry, Terry (Vince) Benner, Alice Henry, Susan (Mahlon) Poorman, and Randy Henry; a host of  cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.

Julie was proceeded in death by her father Gerald Henry, her sister Deborah Henry and her beloved dog Katie-Rose.

1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
