– Lamont H. Dale, 48 died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Gilchrist Center – Howard County, MD, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of Addie (Handy) Dale and the late George Edward Dale.

He was a 1988 graduate of Snow Hill High School.  Upon graduation, he matriculated at Hagerstown Junior College and received a B.S. degree in physical education from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.

He made his home in Ellicott City and was employed as a terminal operations manager with the former Roadway Trucking Company, now YRC in Landover, MD.

He attended Greater Campher King's Apostle Holiness Church in Hagerstown, MD and Kingdom Life Cathedral Ministry in Charlestown, W.V.

Besides his mother, other survivors include his wife and daughter: Donna Davis-Dale and Blake Carr, both of Ellicott City, MD; six siblings, aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A brother preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 103 Collins Street – Snow Hill, MD.  Interment will be in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery in Snow Hill, MD.
