Pocomoke City – Lillian M. (Patsy) Fisher, 87 died Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Hartley Hall Nursing Home in Pocomoke City, where she had been a resident since 1999.
Born in Tyaskin, MD, she was the daughter of the late Wade H. Bailey and Nettie (McCoy) Bailey Handy.
She was a graduate of the former Salisbury Colored High School.
She retired from the Peninsula General Hospital, now Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, where she was a Nursing Assistant.
She was a member of Mt. Zion U.M. Church in Pocomoke, MD.
She is survived by three sisters: Isabelle Gale and Minnie (Thomas) Cuff, all of Baltimore and Dorothy E. Strozier of Salibury; two brothers-in-law: Howard Bell of Princess Anne and Harrison Matthews, Sr. of Pocomoke, MD.
Four siblings: Edgar and Hazel Bailey, Mary Louise Matthews and Julia Bell preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015 at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury, MD where friends may view one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
