Salisbury – Lillie B. Anderson, ("Lil"), 95 died Monday, December 26, 2016 at John B. Parsons Home in Salisbury, MD.

Born in Vienna, MD, she was the daughter of the late James and Maggie L. (Chester) Pinder.  Her late husband, Russell Anderson preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of the former St. Clair High School in Cambridge, MD.  She did further studies in a medical hospital in Baltimore, receiving certification in Histology.

She was employed as a Histologist for the former Peninsula General Hospital, now Peninsula Regional Medical Center, retiring after many years of employment.

She was a member of Wesley Temple United Methodist Church where she formerly served as vice-president & president of the United Methodist Women, former Finance Committee chair, Finance Committee Count team, membership committee, Pastor Parish Relations Committee, Salisbury Urban Ministries, Soup Kitchen and Lay Leadership to name a few.

Her civic involvement included volunteer with the Election Board and former Boy Scout Den Mother.

Her survivors include five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Two sons: Lionel and Lowell Brown and thirteen siblings preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 5, 2016 at Wesley Temple United Methodist Church in Salisbury, MD where friends may view one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be in Green Acres Memorial Park in Salisbury, MD.
