Salisbury – Lionel T. Sheppard, 49 died Friday, March 17, 2017 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD.

Born here, he was the son of the late Inez Pauline Ayres and Lonnie Sheppard.

Lionel was a 1987 graduate of Parkside High School.  He was formerly employed as a laborere for Richard Glasgow Farms in Fruitland,

His survivors include two brothers: Troy Ayres of Princess Anne, MD and Harold Ayres of Salisbury, MD; two half-siblings: Roderick Sheppard and Shenique Sheppard; two uncles: Joseph (Joycelyn) Aryes of Salisbury, MD and David Ayres of Snow Hill, MD; two aunts: Carrie (William) Jones of Atlanta, GA and Rebecca Sheppard of Baltimore, MD;a one great uncle: James Sheppard of Salisbury, MD; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury where friends may view from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
