OCEAN PINES – Lucille J. (Lou) McClain, 85 died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Maryland.

Born in Warsaw, VA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur, Sr. and Annie (Clark) Jackson.  Her late husband Walter McClain, Sr. died October 23, 2014.

She received her education in the Richmond County Public Schools of Warsaw, VA.  She attended and graduated from a culinary school in Alexandria, VA.

She was employed as a chef at the former Mr. T's Restaurant in Alexandria, VA; the Wild Goose Restaurant and Ocean Pines Golf Course Yacht Club, both in Ocean Pines.

Her survivors include three daughters: Alice Parrott of Midlothian, VA, Gloria (Gary) Eastep of Winchester, VA and Deborah (Jessie) James of Las Vegas, NV; three stepsons: Gary T.,  Walter, Jr. and Eric "Ricky" (Gail) McClain, Sr.; a host of grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren; three siblings: Carolyn Wright, Alice Leeks and Arthur Jackson, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

A son, Norman Baylor, Jr. preceded her in death in 2012.

A funeral service will be held noon, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Jolley Memorial Chapel, 600 Franklin Avenue, Berlin where friends may view one hour prior to service.  A private burial will follow.
