Margaret Elizabeth (Liz) Fountain, died Monday, February 2, 2015 in her Coulbourn Mill Road home in Salisbury.

Born in Mt. Vernon, MD, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Nora (Smith) Holbrook.  He late husband, Charles Fountain, Sr. died in 2008.

She was employed for more than 30 years with Wicomico County Board of Education as a school bus contractor.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church in Fruitland, serving as a member of the Senior choir, United Methodist Women, Usher Board, Communion Steward and Kitchen Committee chairperson.  She was also a member of the Wicomico County School Bus Association.

Her survivors include four children: Charles H. Fountain Jr. and wife Marilyn (Marty) of Clinton, MD, Paulette Brewington and Alan Fountain, both of Salisbury and Brenda (Bender) Hardy of Glenside, PA; twelve grandchildren, including special grandsons, Ron Brewington, Durrell Dashiell and Demetries Fountain, whom she reared; twenty great grandchildren, one brother, Melvin Holbrook of Phila., PA; one uncle: Prosser Smith of Princess Anne, MD and a host of nieces and nephews.

A son, Anthony Fountain, and nine siblings preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m.,  Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church where friends may call one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.
