Marjorie Baker Moaney, 90 of Easton departed this life on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Peak Health Care Nursing Home in Denton. She was born June 27, 1931, to the late Charles and Alice Baker on the Wye Heights Plantation in Easton.

Marjorie attended Robert Russa Moton School in Easton. She worked domestic worker. She attempted to work for Allen Foods but. Marjorie went through the Senior Program as a cook for the State of Maryland at the Senior Center on Brookletts in Easton. At a very early age, she attended McGee United Methodist Church with her parents and siblings in Longwood, Maryland. Marjorie later married Thomas Moaney, Sr. and joined Deshields United Methodist Church in Copperfield, Maryland where she sang on the choir.

Marjorie was a loving, kind, and straight to the point lady. She did not bite her tongue, nor did she sugar coat anything. She loved to travel to Florida in her earlier days to visit her family. Marjorie was always ready to visit Golden Coral and anywhere you wanted to carry her. She was always ready, and would dress to the "T."

Marjorie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She will be missed by many.

Marjorie leaves to cherish her fond memories with her 5 children: Thomas, Jr. and Karen of Easton, James, Jacqueline, and Arlene of Cambridge; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Alice of Virginia Beach, VA and Clara of Baltimore; 3 brothers: Clinton of Washington, DC, John and Frank of Federalsburg, Maryland; 1 sister-in-law, Beverly, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sister: Caroline and Bessie; 6 brothers: William, Melvin, Oliver, Percy, James, and Charles.
