Born in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of the late Brazelle M. Briddell and Hazel (Duffy) Briddell.

He was a 1976 graduate of Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin.

As a youth, he attended St. Paul United Methodist Church.  At the time of his demise, he was attending Williams A.M.E. Church in Newark, Maryland.

He was formerly employed in masonry for M. & L Construction Company in Selbyville, DE.

He is survived by a daughter: Marshell Briddell of Berlin; nine siblings: Naomi Purnell, "Vi" Jean, Vicky Foreman, Randy, Ray, David, Irving, Brazil and William Briddell; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Two sisters: Lila Carey and Sarah Cropper preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 2, 2019, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Berlin where friends may view two hours prior to service.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.
