Marshall Lee Jolley, 93, affectionately known as Bozo, of Mardela Springs, peacefully passed away on May 12, 2024, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born February 3, 1931, was the son of the late Elijah and Charlotte 'Lottie' Jolley. Marshall attended Salisbury High School. Subsequently, he worked at JV Wells Lumber Company, San Domingo, Maryland, until he retired.
Marshall enjoyed reading and taking long walks. He was a friendly, kindhearted, and quiet family man. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Marshall will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Marshall is survived by his only daughter, Debra Jolley of Salisbury, Maryland, and three grandchildren, Antonette (Phillip) Bowser of Hyattsville, Maryland, Charlene Wright, and Vendell Wright, both of Salisbury, Maryland, seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Robert (Shirley) Jolley, Mardela Springs, Maryland and one sister, Armenthia Gunther, Chesapeake, Virginia, a devoted niece, Theresa Jolley, Salisbury, Maryland, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marshall was preceded in death by his brother, James Jolley, two sisters, Gertrude Stanley, and Lois 'Honey' Parker, and a devoted nephew, Vaughn Jolley.
