Wilmington – Mary B. (Punch) Dashiell, 88 died Friday, January 20, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Quantico, she was the daughter of the late Jennings and Bertha (Campbell) Jackson.

She had made her home in Wilmington, DE since 1965 where she was formerly employed in housekeeping at the former Wilmington Memorial Hospital.

She was a lifelong member of Zion U.M. Church in Quantico.

Her survivors include two children: Cleo McKinney of Wilmington, DE and Alford Jackson of Quantico; one stepson: William (Mary) Brown of Salisbury; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, one brother: Clarence (Bertha) Jackson of Quantico, several nieces and nephews.

Three sons: Janis and Charles Crawford Dashiell and Norman Thomas preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Zion United Methodist Church where friends may view one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.
