Salisbury, MD – Maxine Yvette (Max, Macky) James, 53, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Anchorage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center here.
Born in Hampton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Alice James Croswell and Howard Collins.
She was a graduate of James M. Bennett High School. She retired from the former Campbell Soup Co, Inc. and was formerly employed with the former Tyson Foods.
She attended New Dimensions Ministries in Salisbury.
Her survivors include five children: Vincent Garrett,Jr., Ulrike James, Olivia Lynch, Ivan Lynch, Jr. and Jessica (Darrelled) Westley; eight grandchildren; four siblings: Christopher (Cheryl) Williams, Decola Collins, Jeffrey Collins and Burrell James and a host of nieces and nephews.
Two children: Linton Steers, Jr. and Victoria Garrett preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held noon, Friday, November 3, 2017 at Faith Temple Outreach Ministry, 737 E. Main Street, Salisbury, MD 21802, where friends may view on Friday at the church two hours prior to service.
Funeral services are entrusted to Jolley Memorial Chapel of Salisbury, MD.
