Salisbury – Ollie Mae Snead, 94 of Salisbury died Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
Born in Quantico, she was the daughter of the late James Ernest, II and Josephine (Price) Shiles. Her late husband, Ralph Snead preceded her in death.
She retired after many years from Perdue, Inc.
Her survivors include one daughter: Juanita Shiles of Salisbury; three grandchildren: Shanda (Rufus) Braboy and Derek Shiles, all of Salisbury and Darrell (Elisa) Shiles of Dagsboro; six great-grandchildren; four sisters: Girlie, Ayeranna Shiles of New York City, Queen Shiles and Erlene Smith, both of Salisbury; devoted nieces and nephews: Alexander (Carole), Madelyn, Tywana Shiles, all of Salisbury and Timothy Shiles of Pennsylvania; several other nieces and nephews.
Two brothers: Joseph and James Shiles, III and four sisters: Virginia Johnson, Florence Brown, Mary Shiles and Emma Marie Goslee preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday at St. James Free Methodist Church in Quantico where friends may call two hours prior to service. Interment will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 3, 2013 at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
