Fruitland – Otis Polk, 92 died Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Salisbury Genesis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salisbury, MD.

Born in Eden, MD, he was the son of the late Ira and Martha (Wright), Polk.

He retired from the former Fred Glasgow Lumber Company in Fruitland, MD.

He is survived by a daughter Margaret Owens of Fruitland, MD; four grandchildren: Tina Boston, Faye Watters and Sherri (Rev. Thomas) Miller, all of Salisbury, MD and Andrea Tindley of Lebanon, PA; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Ann Carr of Westover, MD several nieces and nephews.

Two sisters: Martha Jean Christopher, Mary Maycock, two brothers: Ira, Jr. and Herman Christopher preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Jolley Memorial Chapel, 1213 Jersey Road, Salisbury, MD where friends may view one hour prior to service.  Private interment will be held at a later date.
