Rebecca H. (Becky) Felton, 96 died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Salisbury/Genesis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident since June.

Born in Wilson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Laura (Harris) Hilliard.  Her late husband Ernest Felton preceded her in death.

She was formerly employed with the former Showell Poultry Plant.  She was also employed with the family of Thomas Shelton, Mary Case Shelton and Nancy Gibson .

She was a member of Mt. Enoch Holy Church where she was a church mother.

Her survivors include her brother: Leroy (Eunice) Hilliard of Baltimore, MD whom she reared like a son; a special nephew and niece: Lee W. Hilliard of Schweinfurt, Germany and Susan Y. Hilliard of Baltimore, MD; one grand niece,  Ashara Hilliard-Coles and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Two sisters and five brothers: Marie Williams, Louise Blount, Edward, Clyde, Frank, James and Joseph Hilliard preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Mt. Enoch Holy Church in Salisbury.  Interment will be in Green Acres Memorial Park in Salisbury.  Friends may view at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury, Friday, February 20, 2015 from 6-8 pm and on Saturday, at the church, one hour prior to service.
