Salisbury - Robert David Lane (Bobby D), died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Anchorage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salisbury where he had been a resident since 2004.
Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Louis and Doris (Davis) Lane.
He was formerly employed in maintenance for Camelot Apartments in Salisbury and as a carpenter for the late Charles Boyer.
His survivors include five children: Barbara Jean Lane of Mardela, MD; Bobbie L. (Jason) Morris, Valerie (Kory) Watson, Billie (Jason Patterson) Lane, all of Hebron, MD and Robert David Lane, Jr. of Salisbury; nien grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Rebecca (Dennis) Caton of Florida and Mary Lou (Lorrie) Joudrey of Salisbury, several nieces and nephews.
A sister: Ruthie Bozman and a grandson: Kory Watson, Jr. preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 101 Wilson Street, Hebron, Maryland 21830.
