Obituary
– Ruth Virginia Turner, 77 of Seaford, died Friday, August 28, 2015 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford.
Born in East New Market, MD, she was the daughter of the late Rubin and Sarah (Smith) Matthews.
She was formerly employed with the former H&H Poultry in Selbyville, DE, now, Mountaire Farms. She was also employed as a Private Duty Nurse for several years.
She was a member of the Seaford Church of the Nazarene.
Her survivors include her husband, Robert Turner of Seaford, DE; five children: Delores Fosque of Baltimore,MD, Patsy (Robert) Dredden of Laurel, DE, Daniel (Mary) George of Salisbury, MD, Cherlene Lans of Millsboro, DE and Sheila Fosque of Frankford, DE; fifteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two brothers, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Three children preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2015 at St. John's 2nd Baptist Church in Millsboro, DE where friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
