Obituary
Bridgeville – Sandy Mae Wright, 61 of Bridgeville died Monday, October 6, 2014 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE.
Born in Littleton, NC, she was the daughter of Elbertha Gray and the late Adam Wright; and the stepdaughter of Alfred Gray.
She was a 1972 graduate of Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin, MD.
She was formerly employed for several years with Perdue Farms, Inc. in Georgetown, De.
She was a member of Soul Saving Center in Bridgeville, DE.
Besides her mother and stepfather, she is survived by a daughter: Sandrella (Christian) Risper of Harrington, DE; eight grandchildren: Rondagies Harper, Ahjalik, Joseph and Joshua Davis, Christian Greene, Quincy, Nya and Jala Risper; one sister and brother: Willie Mae (Joseph) Malloy and Rev. Willie (Leticia) Wright, all of Bridgeville; three aunts and four uncles, several nieces and nephews.
A granddaughter, Sandrea Green preceded her in death in 2003.
A funeral service will be held noon, Saturday, October 11, 2014 at New Birth Christian Center, 100 Addix Avenue, Greenwood, DE 19950. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
