Marion Station – Stanley Oren (Stan the Man, Hef) 61 of Marion Station, died Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.
Born in Marion Station, he is the son of Annie (Johnson) Kenney of Marion Station and the late James Lane.
He was a 1971 graduate of Crisfield High School.
Stanley was formerly employed with the City of Wilmington, Ikko Lumber Company in Wilmington, DE, the Seafood Industry in Crisfield, Ernest Brown Cleaning Service and as a truck driver for McDonell's Trucking, both of Oxon Hill, MD and for Ortiz Sod Farm in Marion Station, MD.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife Zelda Johnson of Marion Station, MD; four children: Keith (Janet) Brown of Morganton, NC, Stanley (Tracey) Johnson of Raleigh, NC, Orlena (Jay) Williams of Princess Anne, MD and Lakeisah Brown of Pikesville, MD; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; eighteen siblings, aunts, uncles and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a devoted cousin, Bernard (Mary) Johnson, who was more like his brother and a devoted friend James E. Ward, all of Marion Station.
A brother, Vernon Kenney and sister Vivian Johnson preceded him in death.
A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury where friends may view one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Johnson Family Cemetery.
