Timothy Theodore
Dale
June 2, 1966 – March 3, 2026
Timothy Theodore Dale, affectionately known as “Truck” and “Tim,” passed away on March 3, 2026, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional following a brief illness. He was 59 years old.
Tim was born in Salisbury, Maryland, on June 2, 1966. Tim was a man who loved to laugh, especially when he over-talked others at family gatherings. His presence spoke loudly, just as his heart was large. Once you met him and started a conversation, you were friends for life. Tim graduated from Snow Hill High School, where he left lasting memories with his skills on the football field.
Tim was an avid New England Patriots fan. Additionally, he spent his favorite pastime coaching football for Jayce. Tim truly enjoyed attending both of his churches: the Ebenezer Charge and the Girdletree Charge. On February 12, 2026, Tim rededicated his life to Christ. While at church, he was known to clap and stand in silence, offering purposeful praise and worship to God.
Tim began a career in trucking right after high school (CB handle “Cold Water”), and he drove trucks for approximately 35 years, working for Ocean City, Mountaire Farms, John Coleman Trucking, and Rantz Trucking.
Tim leaves to mourn his mother, Addie Mae Handy Dale; his wife of 25 years, DeNita Blake Dale; two children, Anthony Jackson Jr. (Brittany) and Latoya Dale; four grandchildren, Anthony Jackson III, Jayce Evans, Summer Jackson, and Reign Jackson; four brothers, Jerry Handy, George Dale Jr., Ira Cropper, and Ruince Dale (Brenda); two sisters, Sheila and Shelly Dale; three godchildren, Jerrell Harmon, Kewon White, and Tori Ginn; three aunts, Virginia Davis, Elsie Robinson, and Emma Howard; three sisters-in-law, Donna Davis Dale, Carlessia Taylor (Rick), and Renee Smith (Tyrone); a special niece, Blake Carr; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, George Dale Sr.; his brothers, Marvin Handy and Lamont Dale; and his in-laws, Severn and Dorothy Blake.
