Vannie Leon (Van Lee) Bolling, 58 died Friday, March 14, 2014 in his Prince Street home in Salisbury, MD.
Born here, he was the son of the late George and Rosa Lee (Sessoms) Bolling. He was reared by his aunt, Evelyn Fletcher of Snow Hill.
He attended Snow Hill High School. He was the owner and operator of Van's Concrete and Masonry. He was also employed in construction with Russell Finney of Berlin, MD.
He was a member of the former Partakers of Christ Ministry of Berlin, MD and was currently attending Mt. Calvary Holiness Church in Parsonsburg.
Besides his aunt, he is survived by his wife Mary Foreman Bolling, two children: Donnette Corbin and Gerald Dennis; four grandchildren: Richard, Dorontay, Mikel "Angel" and Telise "Princess," all of Salisbury; five siblings: George, Jr. (Linda), Michael and John (Maria) Bolling; Evelyn Collick and Laura (Samuel) Shields; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, and a host nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Tyree A.M.E. Church in Berlin. Interment will be in Williams A.M.E. Church Cemetery in Newark, MD. Friends may call Jolley Memorial Chapel, Friday from 6-8 pm and on Saturday at the church, two hours prior to service.
