Celebration of Life in Loving Memory of Zenia Mae Harmon

Zenia Mae (Foreman) Harmon, daughter of the late Emory and Nancy Foreman was born on May 25, 1938. Zenia transitioned to be with the Lord on April 15, 2025, peacefully at home.

Zenia accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Wesley United Methodist Church. In Wilmington, DE, she was a member of Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church until moving back to Maryland. Upon returning, she attended church at Free Indeed Ministries and Pathway to Life. Her favorite hymns were "Order My Steps" and older hymns. Some of her commitments to her churches were singing in the choir with the young adult group and being on the kitchen committee and bereavement committee. She was a faithful member of Bishop Davis and Pastor Mills's 6 a.m. prayer call and would be found to be the last one after the call was over still on the line Praising and Thanking God!

Zenia received her education in Worcester County Public Schools. She worked at a poultry plant, she worked in the school system and worked as a caregiver. Zenia's favorite thing to do was shopping and returning what she bought. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She loved going to formal events. She was a member of the Red Hats. She loved traveling. Her favorite color was Burgundy.

Zenia left to cherish fond memories to her children, DeShirla Waters, Tyree (Lamont) Marshall, Mitchell Foreman, Rosetta Foreman, two sisters, Elder Edith Shockley, Doris Graham, two brothers, Paul Watson and Leon Foreman, one brother-in-law, Hance Harmon Sr.,  15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren and one godchild, Latisha Mills, one aunt, Marie Foreman, with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Zenia was a mother and friend to everyone.

Preceding her in death is one son, Larry Foreman and her husband, Marion Harmon.
