BRANDON'S LIFE STORY
Brandon Dontrae’ Robinson of Salisbury, Maryland, peacefully departed this world on August 23, 2021, while surrounded by family at his Salisbury home.
Affectionately known as “Bdro,” he was born on June 10, 1988, to the late Veretta Charlene Hutley (Gates) and Franklin Robinson Sr. He was educated in the public school system of Wicomico County in Salisbury, MD. Prior to his illness, Brandon was employed with his father’s business, Robinson’s Auto Repair as a skilled mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars, installing audio systems, perfecting his craft, and teaching other’s his mechanical knowledge and skills.
During his childhood, Brandon was a member of the Salvation Army’s youth football league, the Bulldogs and was a star player of the team. You could find Brandon in the community helping someone fix their car, playing with his nieces and nephews, hanging out with his daughters but one thing for sure, he was always with his beloved wife, Shimeka. Brandon had a very charismatic personality and had a winning smile that could light up any room. He was one of the most loving, helpful, and strong individuals that you would ever meet. Because of his love of cars and audio systems, you could always hear Brandon coming down the street long before he ever arrived.
Brandon was a loving and devoted father to three beautiful young ladies, Charlene Robinson (16), Ajzah Davis (15), and Briana Mateo (10). Charlene was Brandon’s twin and shares his charismatic personality. Ajzah shares Brandon’s calm and cool demeanor. Briana is his “son” as he affectionately called her and shares his fearless nature. Brandon was blessed to have a loving and devoted wife, Shimeka, who was with him every step of the way and truly was a life partner. She exemplified the saying “through sickness and in health, until death do us part”.
