Connie Fisher Obituary

Connie Mae Fisher was born October 2, 1957 to the late Phyliss and Elton Green. On January 20, 2022, God called her from labor to rest at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center of Easton. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” Ps 116:15

Connie’s education was received through the Queen Annes County Public Schools. She worked for several businesses: Harris Crab House, United Shellfish, and Seahawk Motel. However, the work she loved the most was taking care of the sick and elderly. Wherein she would live in their home and provide care until they were called home. In 1974, at the age of sixteen Connie met and married Antony S. Fisher, whom she loved.

She loved to cook, fish, crochet, eat crabs. She also loved to travel with her family:  Pastor Tynette, Julie, Melissa, and her friends: Patricia Fisher, Patricia Johnson and Elder Deborah Lewis.

Connie gave her life to the Lord in the 1980s. She was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Pastor Anna Taylor, Pastor Lenwood Taylor, and Pastor Deborah Lewis. She was a woman who believed in the power of prayer. She often prayed for her family to be saved. She served as kitchen help, usher, choir member, missionary and armor bearer.

In addition to her parents Phyliss and Elton Green, she is preceded in death by Violet Williams.

Connie leaves to cherish her memory with her husband Anthony S. Fisher; stepsons: Anthony Fisher Jr., Joey Ryans, and Jake Fisher. sisters: Tynette Abdullaah, Melissa Manuel, Audrey Green and Julie Facyson; brothers: Joseph Green and Elton Green; Mother in Law; Elder Agnes Claggett whom she called Mom; Sister in laws: Diane Cooper and Violet Fisher; Brothers in laws: Bishop Ronald Fisher, Michael Fisher and James Cooper; God-children; Glenice Chilous, Curtis Lewis III, Tiqayy Abdullaah, Brittney Ryans, Joshua Manuel and Madayln Adkins; Close friends: Patricia Fisher, Patricia Johnson and Pastor Deborah Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
