Elizabeth Ann Hoffman

Elizabeth Ann Hoffman, 52, peacefully departed this earthly life January 23, 2020, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late William Lee Shrum and Dorothy Ann Gregg.

She was born February 13, 1967, in Nashville, Tennessee, and reared in White's Creek, Tennessee by grandparents, the late Jack Lee and  Mary Elizabeth Schrum. 

Elizabeth graduated from White's Creek High School in 1985 and relocated to Ocean City, Maryland in 1990. She worked ten years as a housekeeper at Berlin Nursing Home. In 2001, she became employed at the Grand Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland. At the time of her death, she was the director of housekeeping. 

She volunteered with the youth group at Wilson United Methodist Church in Bishopville, Maryland. 

Elizabeth did not have children of her own. However, she had a close loving relationship with her informally adopted grandchildren, Anthony and Luis Guerrero Velazquez, of Ocean City, Maryland. She was a loving, warm-hearted and generous person, who gave help to anyone who needed it.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, a sister: Mary Camper of Springfield, Tennessee; and a host of family and friends.

Besides her parents and grandparents, her sister: Patricia Ann Scrum, preceded her in death.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020, at the Grand Hotel, 2100 Baltimore Avenue, Ocean City, Maryland 21842.
