Elwood C. Stull, “Jack”
Ellwood Claude Sherman Clayton Stull, Age 84, from Frederick County, Maryland. Passed away on
Sunday, March 5, at his home in Willards, Maryland. His wife, Mrs. Mary Louis Stull predeceased him in 2018.
He was born in Frederick County July 10, 1938, a son of the late Sherman and Evelyn Stull (Martin).
Elwood worked in the construction trade, constructing custom homes. His passion became masonry
brick work, where he prided himself with large scale projects that became masterpieces when he was completed.
Elwood loved the bay, purchasing boats and two homes on the Maryland Eastern Shore, eventually
making it his permanent residence. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing, hunting, driving around, listening to
music, playing a game of pool, word finds and puzzles, wood working, watching football and Nascar, and
laughing with his family and friends. He would talk to anyone to make them laugh and loved telling a
good story. He was a master at gardening, and produced some of the most beautiful and bountiful
vegetable and flower gardens, that everyone enjoyed.
