Isaac Levin Dale

Isaac Levin Dale, 71, of Snow Hill, Maryland, died on December 16, 2022, at TidalHealth in Salisbury, Maryland.  A Snow Hill native, Isaac was born on January 31, 1951, to Riley Handy Shockley and Gertrude Mae Dale.  Isaac is the husband of Ellen Nancy (Marshall) Dale and the father of Anthony O’Brien Dale. He is a 1969 graduate of Worcester High School; and a veteran of the United States Army. He retired in June 2014 from his Chef position at Worcester County Detention Center.

A lifelong member of Friendship United Methodist Church, Isaac was a fun-loving person who excelled in singing, cooking, and carpentry.

In addition to his wife Ellen and son Anthony, he leaves to mourn seven siblings — Riley (Maggie) Dale, Dorothy, and Christine Dale of Snow Hill, Maryland.; Richard Dale of New Brunswick, New Jersey; Patsy Dale and Melvin (Teresa) Foreman of Salisbury, Maryland.; and Curtis Foreman of Berlin, Maryland.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. His mother, father, and sister Joyce Ayres all preceded him in death.
